Cora, recently released from prison, is barely holding her life together as she navigates sobriety, life with her disapproving mother, and a strained relationship with her ex. All she wants is to do the right thing to win joint custody of her daughter. When a series of misfortunes converge to threaten everything Cora has worked so hard to rebuild, the limits of her resolve are put to the test.

The screenplay was named a quarterfinalist at the PAGE INTERNATIONAL SCREENWRITING AWARDS and earned second prize in the EXPOSE IT! COMEDY SCREENWRITING COMPETITION.
